For whipping cream, fill it with ice. To keep potatoes hot while you whip them, use hot water. With two latches that attach snugly to the bowl handles on a mixer, the stainless-steel jacket doesn't scoot around the counter. Fill the jacket with hot water to keep ingredients pliable or melted; fill with ice to stiffen or keep ingredients cool as you blend or mix. This jacket is safe to wash in your dishwasher.
