The Equipex GES20 waffle maker uses heavy cast iron plates helping bakers create evenly baked, great tasting, crispy golden-brown waffles. To prevent waffle batter from seeping out, a rim borders the grids, and the hinged top plate rests high enough for the dough to expand as it cooks. Any overflow is captured by the drip tray around the plates, and for ease of cleaning, the tray is removable and is made of stainless steel that can be wiped clean. Facilitating cleaning and providing commercial-grade durability, the base is also made of stainless steel. Because users only need to know the time it takes to cook a waffle, the waffle maker is good for kitchens with high turnover rate, and the temperature level is set on a rotary dial separate from the power controls, so it only needs to be set once. The next time users turn it on, it will heat up to that same level.
