The 8" domed glass lid is made from impact resistant glass. It features a center knob that can also accept a detachable long handle so you never need an oven mit or glove to check on foods in a hot oven. It fits both the 3 quart. Saucepan, 2 quart. Saute pan, and 5.5 quart. Stockpot as a replacement lid. It can also be used with the 8" universal steamer if buying it for a smaller 1.5 and 2 quart. Saucepans it is dishwasher safe, is made in France and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
